Commitment Expected: planning for, and running the 2.5hrs a week training session, committee meetings once a month. We’d love you to have flexibility to support and represent the club at ad hoc community events throughout the year, though understand the need for rugby/life balance.

At Alresford Rugby we pride ourselves on being a friendly, inclusive, community focused club. In addition to our senior men’s, minis and youth sections, we are working hard to establish a women’s side, The Swans. Like all clubs, none of this would happen without our amazing volunteers, coaches and team managers. Our current Swans coaching team are departing Hampshire for sunnier climes, creating an opportunity for a new head coach to continue building the team towards regular competitive rugby. This is a great opportunity to be at the core of a developing squad, building numbers, confidence and skills with structured training; supported by a wider coaching team and committee that are invested in the Swan’s success. Whether you are an experienced coach looking for a new experience, or a player looking to move into coaching, we have a fun, willing and enthusiastic group of women that would be delighted to work with you. The Swans train on Wednesdays 7pm to 830pm, on our dedicated pitches, in the heart of Alresford.
