U15 to U18
Hampshire’s boys’ pathway supports the development of players aged 15-18, with a focus on skill enhancement, personal growth, and competitive play.
U15 and U16 PDG (Player Development Group)
Delivered by Bath Rugby on behalf of the RFU, these programs prepare players for elite rugby through tailored coaching and competitive opportunities. Players benefit from Bath Rugby’s world-class development framework and expert coaching.
Nominations for players to be assessed for the programme are coordinated by Bath Rugby in conjunction with Hampshire clubs.

U17 Development Squad
The U17 Boys Development Squad offers quality coaching and playing opportunities across the season. The programme focuses on engaging and retaining our talented players as they enter U18 rugby and provides a crucial exit route for boys who are released from the Bath Rugby PDG programme.

U18 County Team
Offering representative playing opportunities, this programme also provides a pathway for players to re-engage with the PDG through the London South East selections.
Parents of players in the U17 development squad last year (season 2024) have been contacted directly inviting them to nominate for this years U18 county team.
