Hampshire RFU U16–Senior Retention Grant Application

Supporting summer activity that helps retain players transitioning from U16 through to senior rugby.

Maximum grant: £250 per club

Eligibility

  • Open to Hampshire RFU clubs only.
  • Activities must:
    • Focus on current U16 to senior players.
    • Take place during the RFU summer activity period.
    • Be compliant with current RFU regulations and guidance.
    • Aim to improve player retention and transition into the next stage of rugby.

Grant Conditions

Successful clubs will be required to:

  • Submit a short news story and photos (where appropriate permissions are in place) to Hampshire RFU.
  • Share the impact of the project at Hampshire club meetings/events during 2026.

Deadline for applications is June 12th 2026.
