Start: ASAP (ahead of 2026/27 season growth phase)
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, passionate, energetic coach who wants to make a genuine difference in grassroots rugby. You will shape the experiences of girls aged 11–14, develop their skills, build their confidence, and help grow one of the most exciting parts of our club’s future.
As Head Coach for Girls U12/U14, you will be the driving force behind our coaching programme, matchday leadership, and player development pathway. You will build a positive culture, support girls new to rugby as well as developing players, and help create a fun, inclusive, and ambitious team environment.
You will work closely with the Head of Playing & Field, our Women’s & Girls’ coaches & managers, and the wider youth coaching structure to ensure training, values, and player welfare are fully aligned to club and RFU principles. Your RFU training courses, including ERCA will be fully funded by the club.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A positive, enthusiastic, inspiring leader who loves working with young people
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- RFU Coaching Award (or working towards it)
- DBS check & safeguarding certification (or willingness to complete via the club)
- Commitment to the development of girls’ and women’s rugby
Desirable:
- RFU Level 2 (or equivalent)
- Previous experience coaching youth, girls, school, or community rugby
- First Aid in Rugby Union qualification
- Creative ideas to grow participation and strengthen pathways
