Hampshire RFU is seeking an organised, committed, and enthusiastic Team Manager to support our U18 Boys Representative Rugby programme. This is a vital role ensuring the smooth running of all operations and providing a positive, safe, and enjoyable experience for players, parents, and coaches alike.
About the Role
As Team Manager, you will:
- Take the lead on logistics and administration – managing fixtures, training schedules, venues, kit, and matchday operations.
- Act as the central point of contact for players, parents, coaches, and clubs, providing clear and timely communication throughout the season.
- Support the safeguarding and welfare of players by maintaining accurate medical and emergency records and ensuring compliance with RFU policies.
- Collaborate with coaches and support staff to create a values-driven, player-centred environment that supports long-term development.
- Help foster a culture of respect, integrity, and teamwork across the programme.

Requirements: RFU DBS (or willingness to obtain), RFU Headcase Concussion Training, and RFU “Play it Safe” Safeguarding Training (to be completed upon appointment).
Commitment: ~Assessments, Training Sessions & Matches.
Desirable: Previous experience managing sports teams, ideally within youth or representative rugby, and an understanding of the player development pathway.
