Travel Funding
Travel grants for adult fixtures too and from the Isle of Wight.
Hampshire RFU administers travel grants secured from the RFU to support adult fixtures involving travel to and from the Isle of Wight. This grant does not cover the full cost of travel, but is a contribution towards the expense.
Who is Covered?
- Counties 1–4 and the Hampshire Premiership Divisions
- Clubs travelling to Isle of Wight sides
- Isle of Wight sides travelling to the mainland
Key Conditions
- Only completed fixtures are eligible – if a game is cancelled or not played, no grant is paid.
- Clubs under RFU sanctions are not eligible to receive funding.
How Funding Works
- Automatic payment – no application is needed.
- Paid to your club’s bank account in the month after the result is confirmed on the RFU website.
